Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis with pheasant season beginning October 18, 2003.

Weather will vary from 85 degrees to 10 below. Bring appropriate clothing. Layered clothing as well as water-proof footwear is recommended as the weather is sometimes unpredictable.

Licenses and ammunition along with hunting accessories can be purchased in the nearby town of Presho.

As an added bonus, grouse and prairie chicken can be taken with the same license and are in addition to your 3-pheasant limit.
